Two countries. One deeply personal way of travelling.
I have spent much of my life between two countries that understand quality in different and equally powerful ways.
I lived in Japan for 15 years. It taught me that exceptional hospitality is rarely loud. It is found in anticipation, discretion and care: the room prepared before you arrive, the seasonal detail chosen especially for you and the feeling of being understood without having to explain everything.
For the past 12 years, Switzerland has been my home. Today, I am proud to be a Swiss citizen. Switzerland strengthened my appreciation for precision, reliability, privacy and doing things properly.
Lynv\u00E9 was born from the combination of these two worlds.
Why I created Lynv\u00E9
I saw travellers being offered impressive hotels, famous attractions and busy itineraries, but not always journeys that reflected who they were. I created Lynv\u00E9 to offer something more personal: meaningful places, genuine encounters and journeys designed around the individual, not around a standard package.
My world is Switzerland and Japan
In Japan, I am drawn to intimate ryokans, restored machiya, tea houses, gardens, bonsai, temples, artisans and quietly remarkable places beyond the conventional route.
In Switzerland, I create thoughtful journeys for Japanese and international guests who want to experience the country more personally, from alpine slow travel and restorative stays to multilingual concierge and soft-landing support.
My registered Japanese company, NextUp GK, supports Lynv\u00E9's business development and partner relationships in Japan. Together with my Japanese-language capabilities and personal understanding of both cultures, this allows me to communicate directly and bridge expectations between Switzerland and Japan.
What luxury means to me
Luxury is not about filling every day or choosing the most expensive option. It is having time. It is being understood. It is entering a place that feels special because it was chosen with you in mind. It is the confidence of knowing that someone who understands both the destination and your expectations is looking after the details. That is the experience I created Lynv\u00E9 to deliver.
